The 2016 NBA Draft was full of eye-catching style moments. This year’s draft class pulled out all the sartorial stops in order to look sharp, make statements and get noticed. A few of the most dapper attendees chose to rock Del Toro slippers on Draft Night.
Fresh off the bus at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, the first Del Toro sighting was on the feet of San Antonio’s first round pick Dejounte Murray. Dejounte chose to represent his Alma Mater – The University of Washington – by wearing a pair of purple Del Toro slippers. He opted for a quilted velvet pair, which combined well with his subtle purple jacket.

Kris Dunn, selected 5th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves, wore his Del Toros on ESPN during pre-draft coverage. Kris opted for a pair of Navy Velvet Italian Loafers to complete this simple yet dapper ensemble.
The Sacramento Kings’ first round choice was Skal Labissiere from the University of Kentucky. The Haitian power-forward went with an eye-catching magenta and white three piece suit and a clean pair of Navy Velvet Slippers.
Domantas Sabonis, the first-round choice of the OKC Thunder, went for a retro-inspired look in a double-breasted black tux. Domantas paired his classic tux with an old-school bowtie and an elegant pair of Black Velvet Slippers.
